Picked up a 03 Vy S supercharged and sometimes its reluctant to start 1st go it cranks over for about 12 or so seconds the fires or if i crank it then turn it off then crank it again it fires straight away, Any ideas what this could be?

Ive been pre-approved on a 15 grand loan so im looking at two v8 toys

1st, 1997 VT 5.0 Clubsport auto 210kms

2nd 2001 VX 5.7 SS Auto 157kms

Is the Clubby a better buy @ $13000 or 15000 for the SS. Im thinking the clubby cause of its name but im liking the 5.7 v8 over the 5.0 for performance and ecnomony but clubby due to its name and status

So the 5.0 is a old cast iron what the main problems with the engine in this era, 5.7 i know most problems im more upto date with these engines

either way i'll be taking a V8 option
