Hey guys,

Got up for grabs my factory 5 speed 87 VL Berlina.

Basic list of upgrades include:

2 Month old reco head ported and port matched with heavy springs and 35/75 cam, worth $1350. Sitting on a standard block. Head is planed for 10.5:1 compression ratio. also has adjustable cam gear.

Car is lowered with Pedders front springs and King spring rears, all have 1 coil cut off and the front struts/springs are brand new.

Has Lukey extractors, redback cat, and 2.5 inch mandrel exhaust with straight through muffler and a 3 inch stainless rear section of pipe, has a nice deep note and idles very lumpy.

3 Inch intake setup with pod filter, 65mm falcon throttle body and plenum modified to suit.

Injectors have been flow tested and all match perfectly.

Ignition system is brand new 2000kms ago, along with fuel system (both main pump, in-tank pump and filter).

Interior is decked out with full sound system (XPlod head unit worth $600, XPlod rear 6x9's and amp, and cheap 12" Sub) the rear of the car has very nice neat speaker boxes that cover the wheel arches. It has full grey interior, grey dash, sports wheel, sports gear knob and boot, sunglasses holder, black seat covers and floor mats.

Windows have a decent tint on them also.

Its got power steering, power windows, air con, but the air con will need condensor to be able to be working so no garauntees.

It will be sitting on VY SS 17" rims with 2 good fronts and 2 ok rears, or some 18" Saber wheels with 4 stuffed tires, or both for the right deal.

There is just too much to list, so i will leave it there for now. it has about 4 months rego (passed rego 2 months ago easily, built the car last year).

Only major issue with it is the roof has no clear coat, all the chrome strips etc have been removed ready to be painted and put back on.

Have a calais rear disc brake setup to go with it.
Also including an LSD center, and new wheel bearings, just needs some disc wheel seals for the whole setup to go in.

Overall condition the car is really straight, has only very few dents in it (i cant even remember where any are to pick them out), next to no rust at all and just the usual stone chips on the front, the plastic bumper bars are in rough shape but havent worried me too much yet.

To sell this for cash i would have to ask for about $4500 as it sits, as it owes me a touch over $12,000 at the moment so i would rather keep it than sell it for less than that.

Will also look into swaps.

Car also now has Calais Non-Flip Front, forgot to mention that.

Hey guys, all the stores in launnie dont carry these bearings in stock and ACL is closed till monday,
And all the Reco shops are also closed until monday.

Just wondering if anybody has a set they dont need or knows where i could get some in launceston tomorrow? Just need some standard big end conrod bearings.

Got up for grabs whats left of my VN,
Have a complete motor out of a VP to go with it, the original VN motor (bottom end is shagged) with good heads, also got flywheel to suit series 1 VN engine and newish clutch. wiring loom is still in the car and a chipped ECU, all is manual.

Have the entire 5 speed conversion minus the box, including console and manual loom, tail shaft, crossmember, pedals and clutch cable.

Also have a very strongly welded 3.45 28 spline disc diff that needs some brake pads but otherwise ok.

Thats pretty much it for driveline but the car still has grey seats and dash etc in it, some of it is a bit rough IE cracks etc but nothing major. car also has tinted windows and some good (white) body panels, plus have spare front gaurds, bonnet, front bar and boot lid.

all of the driveline related stuff is already out of the car and ready to be picked up.

Im asking $200 for engines, loom, and ECU. $200 for the 5 speed conversion stuff and $80 for the diff. interior stuff and panels im not really fussed about.

Hey guys what i have here is a Bare VL Commodore diff housing modified to suit a HZ (came out of a HZ tonner i think). It has all been welded up properly and looks to be a professional job.

It can be built up to Turbo or Non Turbo VL specs Disc or Drum, anything VL.

Asking price: $100 or $50 without the 3.23 gears
