yeah jarrod is on the right track, that or the sender is leaking,
any trouble with fuel consumption?, the tanks right behind the drivers seat basically so any fumes can be smelt easily.

about the pump being on the way out, really depends on how noisy the pump is,
a small amount of noise is audible from brand new due to the tank being so close to the driver.

205rwkw? thas not much for the mods, mine had 217rwkw and it only had a 17psi pulley, cooler and roller rockers, and a decent exhaust.

any decent body shop would strip and repaint a bonnet for about 300 bucks. and then the job has a lifetime warranty, not worth mucking around with back yarders.
