It gets done plenty? but anyone know the specifics or put me onto someone whos done this?

I'm hoping to do this conversion, but just wanted to know whats involved when wiring in the new loom to the rest of the car etc..

G'day all, on a recent drive around lake barrington my voltage dropped down to low levels for a period then back up to normal on and off for the drive home, my first thought was loose battery terminals, then I checked the main power lead to the battery, it was a bit shagged so got a newy for 5 bucks, the earth line is fine. Now my next thought is the voltage regulator, are these built into the Alternator on the Vls? or a serperate unit? after having a quick look im assuming they are part of the alternator..
