I've tried to contact admin but get no response, do they ever frequent the club anymore?
How do I go about becoming a financial member?
Which admin did you try to contact?
Unfortunately my understanding is that the club's registration ceased some time ago. The forum and the people still exist but there is very little management to speak of. -

Excellent, glad it's working.
Re the guide, some of those EPGs are bloody hopeless! The only thing I can suggest is go into the time settings on your PS3 and make sure it's set to GMT +10 Hobart and daylight savings is on... that's about the only thing that you can do, if it is setup properly then the problem is probably at Southern Cross's end, theirs is probably set to Queensland time or something! I will have a look at mine later on today and see if it's right.
I have similar issues with 7Mate's EPG on my TV, theirs is almost always wrong, and sometimes up to an hour out. -

Ahh sorry, you're not a member, I should've realised. Here's his photobucket http://s245.photobuc... nder/?start=all
Dunno if that'll help you get in contact with him, but yeah... confirming it's the right bloke would be a start. -

There's your problem, for sure! It won't work on UHF until you get to version 1.20 or 1.21.... if it was brand new, it must have been really old stock....
Yes you can update it no worries, I was thinking about it this morning, it's not firmware, it's just the software that your PS3 needs to make it all work.
Does it give you the option to update in that box where it tells you the software version? It does on mine (at the bottom) but I am pretty sure that it won't give you that unless you have scanned and successfully found channels.
If it doesn't, that's fine, all you need is the installation disk with 1.20 or later on it... I just happen to have one here somewhere from mine which you can borrow if you like. You're still in Youngtown aren't you - that's only a suburb away from me....
There have been updates come out that are newer than the CD, but once you've installed from the CD and succesfully found some channels you can then update it again over the net to the latest version.
