how to remove battery central locking button for vr commodore (its got me stuffed)

the owners manual dont show it can somebody help pleeeease

I think you will find that you are not meant to, they sell you a whole new unit and have to program it for you. And of course charge you hansomly for the privilage.

yeah mate i've had to do it before...
i only had one key in my old ute, and it took a trip into the sea and didn't work...

so, two new key backs and one new key bit cut and i was out of pocket a fair stack of cash...

you can get the key bits off places like www.nvu.com.au or www.holmart.com.au or even the good old ebay... you could get one with the chev logo, hsv logo, or the holden logo... they're all teh same.
then you've just go to go to your local motors dealer and have them program it in for you...

not sure on the cost... but i'm sure it'll be too much heheh...

i think the heads are around the 50-60 dollar mark.

but then they will charge ya another 50 or so to program it. (scammers)
