Re: Forum Moderation

Dear Forum Member,

The Moderating Team of the TasCommodores.com forums would like to notify you of our new and revised forum rules. The purpose of these rules is to keep the forum a friendly and positive place for all people a part of and interested in the Club. Most of these are common sense.

The following things are not acceptable on the forums:
Personal attacks and threatening posts or pm's
Avatars, profile pictures or signatures that may be considered rude, offensive, or of pornography
Bagging of another person’s car with intention to offend
Negative and unwarranted attitudes towards Commodores and Holdens
Carrying on off topic conversations in threads
Discussion of club related issues. Issues should be raised with a committee member via pm, email or phone call, or raised at a club meeting.
No advertising, including in posts and signatures, unless you are a paid up club sponsor
No bumping trading post threads when the thread is still visible on the first page of that area
If you do not obey these forum rules, the following will occur:

1st offence - post will be removed, warn meter will be increased, you will be notified that your actions are unacceptable.
2nd offence - post will be removed, warn meter will be increased, you will be banned from the forum for one week with no further notice
3rd offence - post will be removed, you will be banned from the forums indefinitely with no further notice.

No special treatment will be given to club members or long time forum users. It costs the club time and money to have and maintain the forums, and we expect everyone to use it with commonsense and respect.

If you feel that you have received a warning or ban unfairly, please contact a moderator. They will raise the issue with the committee to be discussed and decided on further.

The decision of the committee is final.

The Moderating Team are aiming for everyone to enjoy being a part of the TasCommodores.com forums – if you have any comments, queries, complaints or suggestions, please feel free to contact any member of the Moderating Team.

Cheers,

The Moderators

Thought it was about time that everyone had a little reminder about what our forum rules are.

They are fairly straightforward and I would expect everyone to be capable of understanding and abiding by them.

So please take a moment to familarise yourself with our rules :)

Thanks,
Jess

This is a friendly reminder about the forum rules that the club has set.

Break these rules and you will be informed of so.

Happy Foruming :)

Adam.
