How do you steal a new car like that without the keys? I thought the new model falcons and commodores were pretty much impossible to pinch...

I was wondering the same thing, I wouldn't have thought it would be easy to get into.

put it this way..... lock urself in ya chooka, and pull a inside door handle.... it opens.

must be like a safety device sorta thing, so easy really, take the triangle window out, and open the door.. as for the gettin it started side of things, well who knows..

and yeah prewer, it was insured, or if u was implying insurance in the other way.... i can safely say no, its not like that...

man i hope no one taxes my cars, i would be devistated, and very blood hungry

The alarm goes off in mine if I do this if it was locked by pressing the button... same model... and you would think the immobiliser would stop them starting it. But anyway, horrible to see, and I hope they find who did it.

it goes to show that nothing is safe these days {pretty sure the car even had the kids seats in the back ffs :o }

{ on a side note: the mrs locked the keys in the boot of the VX last year, and being pretty farken hard to coat hanger, we called a locksmith. I watched him get in the car, in 3 seconds flat, and it was a very easy job of doin so too. Then he had the cheek to charge us $160 for it :P After he left, i locked the car up and tried myself to get in, and after about 15mins i could do it, but i have it down to 10 seconds now ;) }

^^ how'd she manage that? On mine you can't physically push the button down unless the door is shut, you have to use the keys or the remote
