finnally re spraying the vl some progress pics!

pretty much just the engine bay at teh monent, i'l get that back together then start on the out side of the car in the next couple of weeks... its ve morphious.. looks a bit blue in the pics but its purple if you see the ve's you would konw what i mean....
i would'nt recomend doing a engine bay.. but the end result is worth it i think......

love the colour...test drove the VE in it..looks so much better in the daylight....my friend from work just ordered one from motors will be here next month...how much is it per litre?

per litre i not sure. roughtly $120 a litre, but its cheaper the more you buy. but i brought 5 litres and i think it was $475.00 or there abouts in 2 pac.. and the clear i got was sometin glike $400 for 5 litres. some new stuff they brought out a. high gloss or something.. its all lsanol paint.. pretty lucky. engine back in no scratches... lol thats a good sign

looking tough with that nice FMIC, good to see you got the turbo set up going, we'll have to see if we're as evenly matched at this dyno day as the last haha.

Good work Luke!

A new washer bottle and a shiny battery cover (if you're not relocating) and a few bits and pieces like that will make the engine bay look a million $$!

yeah the air filter is s**tty, and it made 154.9 rwkw's at 7 psi so its not too bad for crusien around in.. its upto 10psi now though. made alot of difference. but clutch slippen is a big issue lol, and yeah i'm leavin teh battery were it is for now. with the upholstery in the boot there not much room to make it look good. and i'l paint the washer bottle and rocker cover when i do the out side of the car.. chrome the intake and get a polished heat sheild made up for the exhaust manifold..

thanks prewer will do... started the out side of it now. just goto get the screens out and i'm good to go.. just a few dents on the roof to bog up and on one of the back quarters. other than that its perfectly straight luckly..
