We had a bit of an incident with the VL yesterday morning, where Robbie accidently started the car in gear in the shed. Anyway the front of car my doesn't look so pretty any more, which means I'll be replacing the nose cone piece, the grill, front numberplate and either replace or repair the front bar.

Is it worth putting a Calais front on the VL?

It would look like this (but in blue, of course)



or, just get it repaired and keep it the way it is:



It would be the only calais thing on the car, I'm not interested in calais taillights, badges, etc. because if I wanted a calais, I'd just buy one.

Thoughts?

The Calais nose is a class touch on a VL. ANd with the very famous Aero front bar, it will look tops Jess.

Yeah it sticks out pretty bad, worst thing is everyone will think I crashed my own car

definitely go Calais, the normal vl fronts look cheap imo, would look tops with Calais, plus tougher - which was what your going for?

I said no to the Calais front. Keep the one you have.

If you really wish to go the Calais look on the front, do a complete Calais look inside and out or find a Calais.

I personally like the Calais fronts, but you've always said to me that you don't want a Calais front because you don't want your car to look like something it isn't. Which leaves me confused as to why the sudden change of heart.
