How to replace VT/VX speaker grills

As the title says has anyone replaced the front speaker grills in their VT/VX? do you have to remove the door trims??

Yep, you've gotta remove the door trims. The speaker grilles are held in place by circlips behind the trim itself.

well that was easier than I thought. removed the door trim, pulled the circlips off the back of the speaker grill lugs and undid one screw that holds the grill on then repeated the process backwards and all done in 40 mins. B)

geez that made a differemce to the broken one ;)
