yeah thats the go ryan!
bring the big beast and see what kinda numbers it can pull in the street trim with road rubber and baby boost...
would they have issues with you doing that though?
or not cause you'll have streets on it and pretty much not a chance of running a 10 in that trim???
ute cops an oil and filter change and final check over tomorrow after work ready for saturday... fun fun!

Ended up running 12.02 @ 113mph on a meer 11psi of boost and street tyres. Pretty happy with that. Couple of runs I got a bit excited on the stall which resulted in some decent top gear black lines down the track
Little bit more traction and you will be playing in super sedan. Perhaps a set of sticky drag radials and you will get there. Good stuff.

the drag-o masters weren't actually going to let him race due to the car having "proven itself" already...
fair enough thing really, but the advans would have (even on big boost) never had the grip to get into the 10's again...
to cage or not to cage... that is your question hey?...
its bloody expensive to run those times often so it makes you wonder if its worth it... i think its got a 10.5 in it with some set-up tweaks here and there and a lower 60' time but hey... who wants to tear apart a perfectly good car to cage it so you can run maybe once every two or three months??

Fair call. It's great to see the true street cars run the quick times though. I did not find it that expensive to run into the tens, just a bottle of gas every second meeting. My slicks lasted 2 1/2 seasons, so that was not a big cost. The set-up was the hard part - cage, license, tech inspection, safety gear etc.
It's good to see these cars out there. I would find it hard to go back to running in street category again. I know Graham Pettit cannot bring himself to after blowing up his torana.
