front speakers

ah previous owner had front door speekers in but he used a home made spacer thing so it sat out from the door.
do u need it?

id rather have the speakers in the door but i think it might be impossible because of the window winding down.

you have to watch what the magnet comes in contact with this could be the reason there is a spacer just take the door skin off and inspect it

Magnet might be too deep on the speakers, usually the reason for using spacers. Theres not normally enough room to fit speakers in the door comfortably.

another option is make some fibreglass speaker pods

people use vr door pods in vl's they look a bit out of place but work.
or i had 6 inch speakers in a vk once without spacers. but that was pretty close to the bottom of the door

or get VS door pods and have the doors retrimmed with them attached..

My old interior had MDF buildouts along the entire bottom of the door. Ditched them and have Clarion 2-ways in the factory dash location now.

Besides, I thought you were chasing a 10 :P

i am its only a weekend cruiser atm.
goto have some sound.
all my system comes out easy besides the front speekers and headunit.
