Hey folks,

Just so you know I have now started a business doing web hosting, design, selling computer hardware, and IT consulting.

The committee have been kind enough to let me put an ad up here so... here it is :)

My website is up at http://bendweb.com.au and you can email me through the "contact us" link otherwise give me a call on 0407 485 324. I don't have much of a range online yet (I can get LOTS more stuff) so for the time being you'd need to call me to get a price if there's something you need that's not up there.

I can get many many products... brands such as Seagate, Western Digital, Maxtor, Gigabyte, Intel, AMD, BenQ, LG, Netgear, D-Link, HP, Asus, Viewsonic, Kingston, Microsoft... the list just goes on and on.

To avoid disappointment, please don't call if you want something NOW as I won't be carrying a lot of stock to begin with - allow a week or so for me to get products in as required. The main things I plan on carrying in the short term is little stuff like hard drives, TV tuners, and just moving through a few of those to begin with (as I have to place regular orders in order to keep my wholesale accounts with suppliers).

So if you want a custom computer built, let me know. If you just want some parts, let me know. I can also register domains, do web hosting and web design as well - all at very competitive prices (better than you'd get in most of the shops around town). So please let me know if you need anything, I'd be very grateful for the opportunity!

PS - will do free delivery in the Launceston area too :)

Cheers,

Ben

I've put up some full computer systems and notebooks on the website now. Got some great prices - desktop systems starting from $799 - that's for the whole box and dice, including a 17" LCD monitor! See here for details on that one.

If anyone is looking for a new computer, printer, or other bits and pieces... give me a hoi!

Hi all...

Should've posted this up here sooner, but just want to confirm what some of you already know.

Recently I had a job change and I'm now working as a sales guy for an IT company. As part of my contract with them, I've had to undertake to not be involved in any other business while I am working for them. So I am not taking on new business at this point in time although I will still obviously meet all warranty obligations etc, and finish off jobs outstanding as I've been given permission to do this.

Please, do give me a call if you need a hand though, particularly if you are a business as that is my new employer's main market - we are an HP partner as well as lots of other things. I need to develop a client base - so if you're working for a business who needs an IT supplier have a chat to your boss about it, and pass me the details if you want me to call them! We have an office here in Launceston as well as one in Hobart so I can look after them either way. But it won't be me doing the technical work as we have an excellent team of technical staff in both locations to fulfil that role.

Oh and as a side note we are also looking for a senior technician so if there is anyone who feels they would fit the bill please contact me.
