CD is not working

anyone no why. my radio works fine , but when i go to play the cd it says in the display screen E99, that means micro computer is locked , so i looked in the maestro series handbook and it said how to reset the micro computer , ( hold the 'on off' button for more than 6 seconds :o the micro computer will reset , yeah like hell it did , anyone know how to fix it

this worked on my vt calais and my vx international with the maestro series - disconnect the battery for around 1 min...reconnect, start her up, check the cd after u input the pin<-chould be working now... teach the car how to idle...and hey presto....

Mine did that... I replaced my stereo ;)

I found that the magnet thingo spindle thingy in the stacket had come dislodged and failed to stay where it should.

I suspect the CD stacker is stuffed

yep i agree the stacker is stuffed , i unpluged it at the back and i can hear a spinning noise as i reconnected it thinking hey its gunna work :mad: it still shows e99

well what other 10 stacker can i get that will bolt up and connect up without any changes ?????????????

Good question, I'd be giving Hobart Radio Clinic a buzz to raise that Question, you could try Autobarn, but they will think your talking about seat covers instead.. :lol:
