After completing this mod only the other day, thought I would list the steps for those out there who aren't as handy on the tools!

1. remove 2 phillips head screws from underside of instrument cluster (one on each side)
2. remove 2 phillips head screws from above instrument cluster
This should allow the surround to move slightly out from its usual resting place

3. Disconnect 3 plugs for Dome light, Rear demister and wipers (model specific) from left hand side of dash
4. Disconnect 3 plugs for Hazard flashers, headlights/parkers and instrument dimmer from right hand side of dash (may have these in wrong place, but disconnect all 6 sets from corrosponding holes)

5. Pull surround out and remove from vehicle for ease of access.
6. Pull old instrument cluster out and remove from vehicle
7. Installation is reverse of above steps, taking care to make sure all plugs are securely fitted in appropriate holes to allow all options to work correctly.

PS- Mine is only an exec, there may be extra wires for power antenna, cruise control etc in Berlina and Calais based models
