I think that it is to small. It is only a 3.5" screen

i had the jvc version of this when it first came out, great units, i loved mine. not too sure about the quality of these ones though. but i thought the screen size was fine, im goin to a 7" fold out now though, they are gettin pretty cheap now!

While work is a little quite i tend to have a play with the ones we have in our sound board, i was playing with the Clarion touch screen it seemed a little tricky to work, but it wasn't a double din, the pioneer unit is easier to use, the JVC unit is ok but most cars do need to cut abit out of their dash/console to fit them...
My advice is to stick to the brands you know and have a decent warrenty.....
But its totally up to you of course.... :)

yeah as i said i not bout to rush into geting one. and yeah i would definatly stick with a brand i can pro-nounce lol.. i was in auto barn saturday. the clarion ones were bout teh 1800 dollar mark for a 7" flip! and yeah a mate has or had cant remember a 3.5" screen. was clear and not to hard to watch. and more conveneint cause its a single din unit. as u may know in teh vl's there is only a single din in it! no room for a double? so yeah. i like the ones with usb.. cause for wen i cant get to my cd burner cause its a wanker and doesnt work i can hook up the mp3!!! the head unit in mine atm is a 35x4W clarion thing nearly as old as me lol.. pumps out some sound but she is old and plays burnt cd's rarely so yeah. UPGRADE time. anyone got any suggestions as for what i should upgrade to? brands, what features are good? anything?

I've got the JVC version AVX2 and they're great. Check out the specs. Sure they are dearer than this one but i think its worth it!! Although if you were to get this one i'd be interested in knowing how good it is!! cheap is not always crap!!! just mostly
