Hey everyone....I have a 98" VT SS commodore....The VY clubsport body kit has really caught my eye and am thinking of purchasing one.
Just a few quick questions...
Do these fit straight on to the VT SS? or do they need to be modified in any way?
And also the lights, will i be able to keep the lights i have on it? or do i have to buy new ones?
Any help much appreciated
Thanks...Matt

I think you'd find that if you got a VY kit that is built for a VY... the only thing that would fit is the side skirts
There are however many places that build VY Clubsport style kit's to fit differant models
Try a few of these...
SSV
CARMATE
And that's just the first 2 sites that popped into my head, have a look through a Street Commodores Magazine and you'll find that there are heaps of differant places that have what your after
If you want to try somewhere local you could try TVE in hobart, I've seen a couple of thier kits recently that look bloody awsome, PH 6229 9266, other than them... I'm not sure who else does kits in Tassie...
You may want to change your headlights for monaro style ones (easy to fit on VT)... but if you want VY/Z headlights, you'll have to fit VY/Z quarter panels and bonnet

As a person that has brought and researched kits..go the mainland to get one..stay away from Cougar Bodystyling though
New gel do the kit your after and so do fibremaster
Plus with the mainland dealers, once you pay for the kit and freight your still paying less than you would here for a kit

Dont believe everything ya read on Forums dude!!
Could have been muppet in disguise spreading more bollocks and lies about the place!!
Best bet with kits and stuff is ring them, speak to them yourself, see if they will send you recent pictures of their kits fitted to a vehicle and not a picture that everybody has on their sites advertising the same kit on the same cars!
I bought some bits a while back and had to send the lot back as they were using the same pics as everybody else had. looked really good but not their work!!
