got a few very minor dents in the car just wondering if anyone has got stuff done with them before ?
if anyone has what sort of job did he do. Just rough touch up or full good well done job i'm probably thinking it's best to go to a panel beaters but if they can fix it properly could be cheaper so let me know

thanks

You have to remember that Mr Dingo is actually a franchise type setup so whats good at one end of the state may be completely different at the other end but anyway!!

Check in here!!
Depends on of the paint has been damaged and if the panel is creased and heaps of things!!
But give em a call and they will tell you if they think they can fix it or not!!

The guy that did mine wasnt real confident and even offered to do it and if I wasnt happy and took it to the bodyworks anyway that he wouldnt charge me!!

I have had a dent removed on my car, it was a very minor dent on the back RHS door which was put their by some nice person at a carpark and it cost me $130.00 (or something like that) and it came up a treat!

I highly recommend them :)

Mr Dingo here in Launceston did a dent for me in my old ute. Backed into a pole and put a big ding (a bit bigger than a dinner plate) in the tailgate....

He did an excellent job, there was barely a tiny ripple left. That was a black ute too. So yeah, for some things they are definitely cheaper and better than a bodyworks. I think he charged me somewhere around the $100 mark too, maybe a little bit more. To get it done at a bodyworks would have needed repairs + a respray, probably $4-500 I reckon.

It depends on the dent and on the car but it's definitely worth considering.

i'm guessing i should give him a call then only thing is i reckon all up theres probably about 8 or 9 dents all of them very very small but i still want them fixed you can only see them in certain light though and theres 1 big one in the boot it looks like someone decided to park there a*se there or someting cause it's about the size of a dinner plate but only slightly pushed in

Just gotta remember that Mr Dingo does not paint or bog. He simply pushes the dents out a little bit at a time.

If a bodyworks were to do the job they would end up respraying the entire panel that the dents on and then you would be looking at something like $400 per panel. If the dents are on a number of panels then its going to get real expensive real quick.

yeah i thought that. when i brought the car it was neat as and still is it was only about a month later it was sitting in the right light and then i discovered all the little imperfections it's a bit disapointing but oh well can't expect an 8 year old car to have no marks on it if i'm gonna do stuff to it i want the body to be straight as possible. I guess i will just get a quote and maybe get some done and then wait a while then get the others done

forgot to mention the main one i want to get done is in the front passenger door where someone has opened there door on it hasn't taken paint off just made a dead straight dent about 15cm so that'll be the first one to get done and then there are i'm just guessing but about 6 or so tiny little ones above the petrol cap and the pushed in boot.

I also used Mr Dingo when I had a little carpark dent, it cost me $60 and he came to my work and did it in the car park. Did an excellent job.... now my car is dent free :)

Let us know if you use Mr Dingo and how it turns out if you do.
I have quite a few little dents that need removing in my old girl, and as I want to have a go at spraying it myself, getting the little dents out first might make life a lot easier anyway.

if you're going to have a go at spraying it yourself why don't you have a crack at pulling the dents out yourself?
