Which is an old buick motor

No. Only the Series 1 VN's got the Buick. After that they changed a fair few things (inlet manifold, cooling system, block).

The block is still a Buick Aido, they still imported them from the USA. Wasn't untill the Ecotec that Holden cast there own heads and inlet manifold. Its all in the Commodore Lion King book.

So whats the deal with not being able to use the 4.3L stroker crank in a S1 VN? ;)

Cause the S1 VN V6 is a much older cast block than the rest. It can't be machined for the stroker crank.

This is not a thread to abuse each other.

This is not a thread to prove how much you do or do not know about a certain thing.

If you cannot help the poor bloke who started this thread with the problems he is having with his car, dont post here.

If someone has a question about something to do with information contained in this thread, please dont shoot them down for asking - how else are people supposed to learn anything?

Play nice - if you cant, you wont be warned again, you'll be going on a two week holiday.
