I tried GEN111 but they where gone and I didn't want to fork out $300 for full personalised plates so I'm getting LS1350. Only cost $100 and $55 a year :P

Guys & Gal,

For those of you that have semi-custom/custom plates, how long did it take for the paperwork to arrive in the mail/them to be at service tas? It's been 3 weeks since i ordered mine, and yet to hear anything.. Just curious.

Cheers

keep waiting m8 ;)

You would be close now, mine took a bit over 4 weeks to the paper to come in, and your battling against holiday season too, so all the govt departments are on "go slow" mode.

BTW - That checkerplate arrive ok?

I think he's referring to the letter to say that the plates have arrived at service Tas ready for collection.

I got a letter a week after applying saying application was sucessful and to wait for the second letter... is that the one your referring too?

But yeah, I think 6 weeks is the norm, if you take into consideration the week before the application sucessful letter, mine would be about 6 weeks.

I ordered mine a week before christmas. 5 weeks later I got a letter saying that my application was successful, then another week later I got a letter saying that I could pick them up. :D It actually says on the application form to wait 6 weeks for prosessing, etc. So wait another 3 weeks col and they'll be there for ya mate :D

I'd be aiming for something a little more original if I were you... but I think you have to have 6 digits anyway

VL 1987 is already taken. If you wanted VL 001 plates they would have to be full custom as they are only 5 characters.

What about WHT 087 (white 87)
