Monster tacho (auto-meter Gauge black with external shift light) stolen from ae 92 corolla in summerhill snatch n run took the pillar it was mounted on left door open! Then returned 2 days later to find 3 windows smashed (front, rear and rear passenger) any information the cops and myself would be quiet interested in!

I am pretty well sure you wont see that gauge again nor find the people who did it. Cops proberly wont even do much. When s**t happens, blame the closest bogan.

not really smart to take revenge, it normally comes back to bite you on the butt.... see if u have told the cops what has happened, if anything happens now to them via you or your friends the cops will not help you at all... i guess if your trying to get your claim back for the damage done to your car then its best to leave it and hope that it will goto court and u can get your money back. If they are gutsy enough to attack your car then they will come back ten times harder...

Wow, surprised you found out who done it. 'Grats. I've always agreed with revenge, but it depends on the type of person you are. Cops are allready envolved so I wouldn't reccomend doing it now considering you'd instantly be #1 on the suspect list.

what vytt said is pretty much right, but keep in mind the cops won't do anything, they never do about this kind of thing. Too little a task on their busy list of things-to-do.. like booking people for i dunno, having a neon light inside the car under the footwells or something lol. Remember it's got nothin to do with you if someone else whoops em mate... so long as you got an alibi.

you shouldnt encorouge him, i know alot of ppl that have made it worse for themselves by pursuing problems such as this.

Did your mates/your car have an alarm?

Was it Locked? (Stupid question but thats how it normally happens)

If u find out who did the tacho, try and get photo as evidence and u need a receipt of some sort for cops to believe you had it in the first place... cops will do something if the groundwork has been done.

Not a smart idea to jump on a public forum saying you are gunna seek revenge. Its like telling the Police your gunna rob a bank and then wonder why they are waiting for you at the bank with cuffs in hand! ;)
