Yeah it is Simon. I think you need to be a member of a club, if not it costs a fair bit to run on the day. I'm going to spectate anyway.

The days run by LCCT are great value.
I was a member last year....but haven't paid my subs this year yet

It costs (last year anyway) $80 for a days racing.
Rules are pretty simple and basic commonsense and attitude applies.

There is scruitineering to ensure your vehicle is in a safe roadworthy state, and basic clothing regulations apply.

Basically you race against yourself......cars are sent off in pairs, and you can (by agreement) scatch race, or just get your rocks off going for broke by yourself.

Gentlemans rules apply for corners....if you are first into a corner, the corner is yours.
Definitely recommend the club as a fun club to join.
No cams licenses needed at this level.

A level 2S CAMS licence is needed at this level of club racing. Cost for the day is $105 per person As it costs over $4000 to run a club day.... :o

Cars are grouped in groups of 8 cars these days but 4 get start and when they get to the hairpin the second lot can start. This format allows us to run all the cars in almost half the time. ;)

Gentlemens rules for the corners only apply to some people, some really get into it!! :P
