Any body know where i can get a set of the HRT Optimized stickers that go on the front guard of the GTS/R ? The 1 with like the auzzie flag ??

And does any 1 know if the small guard indicators off the VY fit the earlier models ?

Have you tried Motors?.I did see once in SC a VN with VT side indicators on it.So VY should fit.Go to Rodney Hylands Holden Wreakers in Wynyard cause they have a VY over there.

Thats the 1

The indicators on the VN is a bit different coz they would of had to cut their own holes because the vn didnt have them factory

Are you serious ?? :o I agree they would look stupid on anything but the GTS/R but think about it if you had a GTS/R and changed the wheels it just wouldnt look right B)

Cheers Matt, the HSV and build number thing shouldnt be a problem because the car im looking at has that engine. Only problem i might have is that the sticker wasnt on that model :( but hey no harm in trying and there is always ebay :P

Wouldn't look right, but would look a whole lot better! :P

Seriously, I wouldn't take one if it was sold cheap to me, I just can't stand them for some reason! Give me some old skool Walky or VN Grp A any day of the week.

Bit of a shame it took 5 - 6 years for HSV to put out another factory released engine (from the last group A) that had 215kw ;)

Bunch of softc*^ks really, cause they were the reason that the Holden OHC engine was shelved after it was put on the dyno and wacked out a 196kw on the first run. HSV manager turned around and said it would be too had for them to use the engine, so the accountants shafted it! If it had gone into production we would certainly not have any Gen Chev motors now and would be supplying the world market for OHC V8 engines.

Nothing other than they should be able to get more ;)

5.0 - 214kw

5.7 - 215kw

they weren't trying hard enough!!! Should be able to wind those things out of the factory with a bit more than that!

Remember thats factory, the most that a factory 5.0 had was 200 i think in the VP senators and so fourth, Its a blank canvas.....good starting point, all the good bits are already in there, just need to make it breathe and i think some serious figures could be had

The Grp A was factory :P

there were 302 or 304 that left the factory with 214kw under the right foot :D

I guess it depends which factory we are talking about too, cause if it's Holden or HSV they both had different size motors, Holden had 5.0ltr right up to the VT's and HSV changed to 5.7 pretty early in the piece :)
