Just wondering if anybody can tell me how much is involved in putting a VR Buick V6 and auto into a VS???

Are the differences between the Buick and V6 and the T700 and 4L60e enough to make it difficult???

Basically my VR copped a guard rail the other day, and I can pick up a decent VS with buggered motor and box for $250... Worth it???

No coz it's illegal for one transport will a*s rape you if they find that motor in there, older engine in newer car is a no no

Also plygs for wiring are in different spots on both cars and different plugs

I reckon you could almost buy the vs and take your vr up to hylands at wynyard and trade it in on a new motor and box for the vs, simpliest way to get out of it really as he'll sell you a good v6 and auto to go straight in.

Hm interesting option, I've been offered $500 for the car as is by a wrecker which isn't too bad considering how fucked it is and I paid $2700 for it (at the same place actually)
It won me $1000 bucks at the drags and I've put 40,000k's on it so will cut my losses unless someone wants bits for decent price.
Plus will be a good excuse to buy something else :-)
