If it is a tuned PCM you may be able to talk to Craig or Brett on the forum who are in contact with Steve at Oztrack. All depending on the OS installed in the computer.
If you think it is more of a mechanial thing to be honest I take mine to Motors and have no issues, but I am sure they are far from the cheapest around to look at a problem.

nare no back firing or any thing just using lots of fuel and not idling right do u guys no what rpm a standerd auto ls1 should idle at it runs fine other wise no power loss or any thing still hits 140kh in 2 at 5500rpm i think he edited the fuel system some how and what he done made it run lil better and use less fuel but then car stopped running and had some thing to do with what he done and don't think he changed it back properly and it's been to motors with this problem happening cost me $170 and it's still the same motors are rouges thay can jam a 3" exuest pipe up there a*s for all i care it went in for full service befor i picked it up from yard every thing was ment to be done and thay done nuthing diff started clunking 10.000k's after i got it due to the fact thay did not change diff oil changed out my self have not had any more problems and i've done like 30.000k's since oh and the hole car is standerd i'm looking at geting cat back when i find some were thats not over priced and otr cai then get maffless tune

all work has been carryed out by frizz's autos in bell bay brian frazer
There's your problem, do your self a favour and contact Craig Seaton (chv 408) he will fix it for you. No real offence to frizz (yes I know him well ) but I believe he is a bit over his head with newer stuff imo.
