I'm no mechanic, but I know they can be more thirsty with fuel, and arent all that roomy for their size.

Not sure about diffs, the one I went in seem fine. Generally speaking, you would probably notice if the diff was on its way out (rumbling or whatnot).

As far as engines and transmissions go, you didn't say if you were looking at a 6 or an 8, an auto or a manual. All were the same as in the Commodore, so the same issues apply.

Generally, just look out for general signs of wear and tear. I'm sure other members on here will give a more detailed insight, but thats the best I can give.

Well the my old mans crewmans pretty good on fuel actually
As for the size where has anyone had a dual cab ute with 5 adults and been super comfy??
As for diffs. would be the same as every car. If it makes banging nosies i would imagine its stuffed

Cheers

Thanks heaps.
its a v6 auto with 178k on it, I have heard from different people they are heavy on juice but others say they are good, I suppose it would depend on what you drove beforehand, I drive a 3.8 VP ute at moment and some weeks it seems heavier on fuel than other weeks or maybe my imagination dunno...
