I have put a 308 and aussie 4 speed into my vh, now i just bought a 2nd hand clutch cable as its all i can find. I fitted it but i cant get it adjusted out further enough to push the clutch in. Its like its stretched or im missing a piece. I also tried a working cable off a t5 which wont work either. Has anyone had the same problem?

What pedal set up do you have, a 6 cylinder or V8 one?

V8 ones are rare and worth quite a bit, dellow make one if keen. Just get cablemate to shorten the cable.

checked out on the net, if i shorten the cable it would work but the pedal sticks out heaps further than the brake pedal. Also was told to get a 16mm socket and bore it out and fit it between the adjusting nut on the cable and trans. Gonna hunt for a pedal first i reckon.
