Okay, basically at the moment i'm driving a 2000 Mitsubishi Magna, its a 4spd auto and there seems a lack of affordable 'parts' available for it.

I previously had a VR Exec in auto which i've missed having for ages (current owner has run it to the ground and it looks like anus now) and i am now looking at getting another Commodore. I'd love a V8, i've looked at a few SS's but most have had high mileage or in rugged condition. Really i'm after more power and a manual.

A 1995 VS Exec in 5spd manual has become available to me, apparently in immaculate condition and their after $4000ono. Just wondering what i should do. I want a V8 but i honestly don't think i can afford to run/look after one.

How much is the VS worth really? To me its how much im willing to pay, now might be my only chance for a manual to come by for this price for a while. I have a small debt to pay off as well so i'm thinking maybe get this VS and pay my debt off, that way i can afford to do work on the VS.

Opinions?

Dan,

VS manual if factory fitted are rare. If the kays are low for its age then grab it, Normally yards buy them in for a round $1500 - $2200 then sell for 4990 or less depending on kays. I wouldnt wait as they go quick but VS are getting old and people are wanting VT's VX's so if i was you i would take it

Yeah i quite often look on Carsales, Carpoint, Trading Post etc. But have only been finding Autos on there unfortunately. Theres a manual S Pack on Tradingpost but it has to much cosmetic damage, is missing front lip and has a dirty pod filter.
