I've been looking at these Eonon Double DIN units, they are cheap nasty chinese rubbish, so I don't expect build quality to be wicked, but a google search reveals mixed reviews on them. The unit I have been looking at is the E1012, which they list on their site for $246. click here

I've seen them on ebay going for around $170 - $200, at that price they are looking more attractive. But it's an unknown brand and I'm just keen to see if anyone else out there has had the use of an Eonon product with success?

Personally I wouldn't waste my time, with anything electrical we buy locally and get a warranty, but then we also have a habit of things dying fairly new, so yeah.

Mandi had one in the 200 that was a sinlge with a small screen in it. It worked for a fair while and was pretty good.

The car hasn't been going for a little while so I'm not sure if it's still ok or not.

I dont think the eonon brand is considered cheap chinese crap. If u have a look at their website, they certainly arent a no-name brand, just a cheap one. Certainly no pioneer or clarion, but if ur in the market for some tv or DVD players, I'd give them a look.

A lot of their stuff is sold on ebay, not sure if its knockoff stuff or the real deal.

Also not sure about distributors down here, but I know there are a few, names escape me atm.

I brought direct from them. Freight was insane quick. Not had any big issues with my head unit to date. Certainly recommend.
