brett... nice damage :)

question for you - did it spin this big end bearing? cause the journal looks like it's been mighty hot in the past... could it have picked up this bearing with some big revs on board, got hot and seized... then thrown itself to bits?

got any more pictures for us? i'd love to see the rest of the engine parts...

shame it went pear shaped so far from home, but you get that...
less gas next time?

keep the shot under 100hp and build the motor to run quick NA... add a bit of gas to get it into the 10's...
my aim (if in your position) would be to build a complete NA package that can run consistant 11.1's 11.2's and give up there...
with your box and rear end, suspension set-up and tyres... i think you'd just need an L98 with the right cam and some very mild head work... easy done...

but anyway, good luck with the build. hope it all comes together trouble free...

Not 100% sure but it looks like it was poor oil pressures from a LS1 sump so the crank was starved every time it got some power , anyway next time A & will get it upgraded next time

Here's my spun bearing. Whoops.

Was a good enough excuse to stick an L98 w/cam in though :D
