yeah they seem pretty good to me.
i took my old ute there and they got her running a bit sweeter. it was stalling out a bit and blah, but they got it running nice.
i was very impressed by their workshop setup, and pete had his VS ute apart with the engine on the bench and he showed dad and i over what he was doing with it showing us most of the stuff, saying how he was planning on going down the super charger route and stuff... very friendly dude and seemed very switched on

Haha, when wasn't the ute pulled apart??

Anyway getting back on topic I've had most of my tuning and work done on the VL there and can't complain at all.

Rob Lupo would be a good person to contact about turbos or let me know what you are looking for because my brother can get new ones at a good price as well.

VL, RB30. He has 220kw at the wheels but he wants more power, the engine will be able to take it too, as well as everything else, he said he is sick of just sticking on 15PSI

A T88 won't be much good for street driving. He'd be better off getting something like a GT30/40 or GT35. My brother is running a GT30/40 and made 258rwkw on 18psi tuned on the rich side. He ran a 12.4@114.5mph on Saturday with only 15psi. I may be able to get your mate a good price on either of these. If wants to keep it drivable on the street I'd suggest a turbo like these. Something that comes onto boost at 5000rpm isn't going to be much good.

How'd a T66 go?

I can basically get a good price on anything Garrett. Also 6800 is a lot of revs to be pulling out of an RB30. I haven't taken mine past 6000 many times at all.

Not over 6000 too much? hmmmmmmmm. I don't really know whats been done too the engine, ofcourse, the bottem-end has been strengthened...but I can't tell you.
But with just over 200K on the clock and 220rwkw on 15PSI is nothing too be scorned at...and it is quite a sleeper.
