its easier to buy a VX garnish and keep the lights you've got (if the reverse lights you have in there work)... do the ones in the boot actually light up???

i say the mspaint job you've done looks bad and i wouldn't do it...
but if you were going to do it with the whole garnish replaced (like a VX) then it would look quite ok...

All of my Tail-Lights do work, i had a blown number plate light but i fixed it shortly after i got it! I was planning to get VX Boot Garnish then Monaro Taillights!

With the mspaint job i did it on photobucket i knew how to erase my number plate and i thought to colour the boot garnish as an example! L8r James

don't paint the original garnish james. ;)

buy a vx one and some darker(black) monaro lights imo.

there is a vx that parks in front of ACL most days at mowbray that you could look at to see what it looks like in blue..albiet slightly darker shade than yours..

the original (red) monaro taillights like mine look alright on lighter colours but don't do the darker colours justice from what I've seen with pics of others on sc and jc.

A couple of co-workers has got same model as mine ones got a White Vt with Vy Clubby Bodykit with Original Monaro Taillights and the other has got a Navy Blue VT Clubby with Chrome Taillights with a VX Boot Garnish!

I saw a Blackish Red Original Monaro Style Taillights on Ebay and i didnt take note of the price, and since ive got a dark coloured car also ive got black and silver coloured grills on my car, im planning to blend the tail and headlights in that colour scheme just as an idea! L8r James

Remember if you put a VX garnish and lights in a VT it will no longer be legal as the VX tail lights have no reflectors in them, that's why they were installed in teh bumper. If you install genuine Monaro tail lights then you will be fine as these have a reflector built in.

Ok i didnt think about the rear-car-reflectors, i might go to the Police Station or Autobarn to enquiry about them, i need to get a new brake light when i go to Autobarn and i might ask them while im there! L8r James

Ive been out to Autobarn to get my replacement bulbs for my taillight and i saw shawn there and i asked hime about my project and he wasnt sure so i trotted off to the Police Station in town and the fellar who served me wasnt sure to but he told me got to the Vechile Transport Place on Cnr Wellingon and Garfield Sts!

I went in and enquired about my project and the girl who served me was good and one of the inspectors was out and going to be back in a few minutes and i waited until he got there and then i explained my project and went to have a look at my car and he wasnt sure either and he gave me a number to ring for Vechile Servies in hobart to see to give me the thumbs up to get my project to go ahead!
