vt commy wiring

hi ppl me father inlaw has just brought a 97 vt stocko and wants a cd player put in ..but wiring is a mess ...
can someone give me a rundown of the stezza stocko wiring ie what col for what ect ect?

hi mate is the wiring harness plug still in there or has it been cut? cos you can just buy a joining clip so there aint no cut wires.
If it has i will rip my cd player out and have a look for you.

ok i was bored so i went and pulled mine out and had a peek this is what i got, hope its right
  • Power= Yellow
  • Batt/mem= Orange/black
  • Grd/erth= Black/White
  • PWR ANT= Yellow/red

LEFT FRONT
+ Tan
- Grey there are two grey wires that look the same so trial and error on this one...

LEFT REAR
+ Brown/black
- Yellow/green


RIGHT FRONT
+ Lightgreen
- Darkgreen


RIGHT REAR
+ Blue/orange
- Blue/Black

Now the remaining wires you wont need i think there is about three
they are only for things like the mute and light functions on the stockie head most brand units dont use these.....

Any more help give us a yell might even be able to give you a hand if you get stuck

thats awsome thanks... nuh plug is gone they done a shocker of a job..young persons car got neons still under dash and seats. sub lines and crap still in boot and they wired the old cd player in with sticky tape...
