Forum Rules

Hi everyone,

Please read carefully through these basic forum rules - they are pretty straight forward, however ignorance is not bliss and claiming to not know forum rules will not get you off the hook if you do not abide by them.

Forum FAQ

1. When I click on a link to a topic from the front page, it says that I can't access it - why?

On this website we have a few forums which aren't visible to ordinary members. Occasionally there are discussions which are better off being held privately - for example if we are discussing ideas for club brochures, or some other information which we'd prefer not to release to the general public.

2. What do I need to do to get validated?

In order to become a validated member you will need to meet three conditions.

Firstly, you will need to be seen to be an active participant on the forums, with at least 30 posts.

Secondly, all validated members must be financial members of the club - that is, that they must be either paid up members, or associate members.

Finally, you need to come along to at least one CCT event, so that our members and preferably at least one of the committee members can meet you and vouch for you.

3. What do I do if I have a problem with something someone has posted?

You should contact one of our moderating team, or alternatively, click the "report" button on the post, and we will attend to the post as soon as we can.

4. Who are the moderators and how do I contact them?

You can find a list of our moderators and administrators here.

For general removal of offensive posts or other moderation enquiries, we encourage you to contact one of the global moderators listed.

For all other enquiries, we encourage you to contact one of our administrators from that same list.
